The Eco-museum is the museum of a place and place of the Museum at the same time, a Museum of Nature and man, when the discovery of Man is only meaningful in relation to the reading of Nature, and where both actions occur along the way.

The Eco-museum does not favor a period or style, or describes a unique habitat: it carries out its path by immersing the visitor in the real representation of the socio – economic existence. It is a documentation tool for individual aspects of the life of a community, but it is a system that documents and promotes the relations between the elements that constitute it. In its basic meaning is added to tool to find a road to economic recovery, which must start from the values and knowledge that have developed age-old experiments with continuous attempts by the human communities on the surrounding environment, considered as a resource with which establish balance and not just as a place of residence of raw material to plunder.
