L’Altra Romagna Soc. cons. a r.l., Local Action Group is an agency for the promotion and marketing of the hilly and mountainous area of Romagna. The Company was established in December 1992. For the first time in the Romagna Area, a Company was created with the task, through the participation of Public and Private Entities in the territory, of initiating a new phase of economic, social, and promotional animation of Rural Areas.
The Company became a Local Action Group in 1994, activating its candidacy for the presentation and management of the Leader II Project for the Romagna Apennine area.
L’Altra Romagna is a Limited Liability Consortium Company, registered with the C.C.I.A.A. of Forlì under No. 250511, Business Register No. 19025.
L’Altra Romagna s.cons. a r.l., pursuant to Article 1 (9) of Directive 2004/18/EC is defined as a “Public Law Body” or “Equivalent Public Body” as provided in the same Directive 2004/18 as a “public law body” means any body:
a. established for the specific purpose of meeting needs in the general interest, not having an industrial or commercial character;
b. having legal personality;
c. financed, for the most part, by the State, regional or local authorities, or other public law bodies; or whose management is subject to the control of such bodies, or of a management or supervisory board; or more than half of whose members are appointed by the State, regional or local authorities, or other public law bodies.
